The Iowa Association of Community College Trustees wish to express their thanks to members of the Iowa General Assembly and the Governor for their strong support of our colleges during the 2007 legislative session.
For 40 years, community colleges have played a vital role in growing all regions of Iowa's economy by training the next generation of workers. In order to preserve, protect and enhance the incalculable contribution of community colleges to the well-being of Iowa, the Iowa Association of Community College trustees has made recommendations to the Iowa General Assembly and the Governor for their consideration during the 2008 legislative session. These fall under the following categories:
- Local tax support
- General aid
- Infrastructure support
